Catalonia is one of the most important culinary regions in Spain. The wise combination of traditional cuisine with the work of the most innovative chefs and modern techniques has awarded the region worldwide recognition.

Tentative Itinerary:

Day 1 Departure from USA.

Day 2 Arrival Barcelona Airport. Day of leisure.

Day 3 Sunday market visit, then rest of the day at leisure. Option to visit Barcelona on your own.

Day 4 Molecular Gastronomy workshop.

Day 5 Cava tasting and a visit to the the Sacred Mountain of Montserrat.

Day 6Restaurant visit and excursion to Vic for a sausage tasting.

Day 7 Restaurant visit and excursion to Girona for a traditional cooking class.

Day 8 Sightseeing in Barcelona including a visit to La Boqueria Market then a farewell dinner featuring traditional Catalonian cuisine.

Day 9 Transfer to Barcelona Airport. Return flight.
