About Us
Mary Kay and Larry
Mary Kay and Larry have been taking groups of adults and youth since 1995. Groups have ranged from 25 to 125. They have been touring with groups in The Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, the UK and Hong Kong. They have written a book from their experiences, YOUTH GROUP TRAVEL, A Planner’s Guide, that has received accolades as an excellent tool for group travel coordinators. They are firm believers that travel is a key part of their two sons’ successes in school and in their professional careers. Mary Kay speaks Spanish, some ancient Hawaiian, and Larry speaks French and Italian. Their home is in Seattle.
Loek
Loek, originally from the Netherlands, has been in the tour business since 1979 and has lived in or visited most of Europe and the UK. He and his wife, Joanne, have run the national branch of a large travel organization since 1994. They now live in Denver.
Willeke and Ashley
Having traveled the world for more than twelve years, Ashley has spent time on most continents (North America, Africa, India, S.E. Asia) and lived for several years in Australia/New Zealand and Indonesia. When not traveling, he worked as Senior Consultant for a renowned UK travel agency, specializing in tailor-made tours. He is passionate about food & travel and currently lives in Amsterdam.
Willeke has been organizing events for international groups for about 4 years, and has always worked in an international environment. She has traveled to most European countries as well as USA, Brazil, Cuba, Egypt, Morocco, Thailand, Laos and Indonesia. For the past 4 years, she has been living in her home town of Amsterdam. Willeke speaks Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish and Indonesian.
